About Me

I am a Computer Science PhD student at the University of Southern California (USC) working under Dr. Jyotirmoy Deshmukh in the CPS-VIDA group. Before my PhD, I was a Researcher (Contract) in the Intelligent Connected Systems Division at Toyota North America - InfoTech Labs in Mountain View, California, where I worked on data-driven formal specification for connected vehicle applications. My research interests are in formal verification and model checking of autonomous cyber-physical systems.

I was born, raised and educated in Bangalore. Early years of my schooling was in Bishop Cotton Boys' School. This is where my aspirational tennis started along with my studies. My high school education was at St. Joseph's Indian High School, during which I got an opportunity to represent my state, Karnataka, in tennis at a National level. My pinnacle in junior tennis was winning the Silver Medal at the National School Games.
I continued my studies at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain Pre-University College, focusing on my academics. I got a rank of 419 in a pool of 78,694 aspirants in Karnataka Common Entrance Test and secured a merit seat in Computer Science and Engineering at B.M.S College of Engineering (BMSCE). Wanting to pursue higher studies, I appeared for the All-India GATE 2016 CSI exam where I secured 96.5 percentile. I was also offered admission to the MS degree program at USC where I continued my higher education. I graduated from USC with a masters degree in Computer Science (Intelligent Robotics specialization).
